There is a strange teaching going around, that says a person does not need to know Jesus personally to go to heaven. This false teaching has greatly troubled me. And I pray that all of you, might have clear thinking and be rooted in the Word.
So, let’s talk about Jesus.
John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
We love John 3:16, but keep reading. . . John 3:18 says, “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s One and Only Son.”
John 3:36 “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.”
John 8:24 “If you do not believe that I Am the one I claimed to be, you will indeed die in your sins.”
The good news, is Jesus, who was God’s One and Only Son, fully God, fully human, lived a sinless life and took on ALL of our sins.
John 1:12 “Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”
Oh the joy of knowing Yeshua, Jesus, Emmanuel meaning God with us! And to know Jesus personally is such a joy and privilege that He is our Savior, Redeemer, Friend, Good Shepherd, Faithful and True, and this Sunday we will learn Jesus is the AMEN! And it is Jesus who stands at the door our heart and knocks, and if anyone hears His voice and opens the door, Jesus Christ will come in and dine with you and you with Jesus (Rev 3:20).
Spend some time today talking to Jesus. There is nothing like it!
